DescriptionRenfrew Victoria Hospital (RVH) is a fully accredited, 55-bed hospital located in Renfrew, Ontario, 45 minutes west of Ottawa. We have 450 staff and a robust surgical program with two fully equipped surgical suites, run in partnership with The Ottawa Hospital, including cases for general surgery, gynaecology, urology, ENT, plastics, surgical oncology and endoscopy. We are connected to TOH and many other hospitals in the region with EPIC EMR.
Our hospital is looking for a Gynecologist to join our hospital. You would have 6 days per month of OR time (no obstetrics), plus a weekly comprehensive nursing and administrative support. QualificationsIn this role, you would also be part of the Department of Obstetrics, Gynecology and Newborn Care at TOH. The successful applicant will fill the role of a Community Gynecologist in the Division of General Gynecology. Additional clinical and leadership opportunities may exist at The Ottawa Hospital or other regional partners based on the interest, experience and expertise of the candidate. The ability to work well in a team environment is essential.
There will be opportunities for resident education and research if desired. Remuneration will be base on OHIP fee-for-service. The start date of this position is flexible and we are considering applications on a rolling basis until Feb 28, 2024. Suitable candidates will be contacted for an interview.
Applicants must have certification in Obstetrics and Gynecology from the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada and must be registered or eligible for licensure with The College of Physicians and Surgeons of Ontario.
