 RVH welcomes Dr. Christopher Borth, Urologist

 

 

Renfrew Victoria Hospital (RVH) is pleased to announce the addition of a new urologist to its team, marking a significant step forward in expanding access to specialized care for patients across Renfrew and surrounding communities.

Dr. Christopher Borth, MD, FRCSC, MBA, will be joining our physician team starting December 9, 2025. Dr. Borth brings over 20 years of experience in urology, and we are looking forward to servicing our patients locally starting December 9, 2025.

Dr. Borth completed his Doctor of Medicine and Urology Residency at Queen’s University and is a Fellow of the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada. He also holds an MBA from the Lazaridis School of Business & Economics. Dr. Borth has extensive experience as a urological surgeon across Ontario and has served in leadership roles including Chief Medical Officer and Director of Healthcare Products. His clinical interests span general urology, oncology, and minimally invasive procedures, complemented by a strong background in clinical research and teaching.

This strategic recruitment strengthens RVH’s ability to provide comprehensive urology services, including diagnostics, treatment, and procedures for conditions affecting the urinary tract and male reproductive system. With this addition, patients will benefit from shorter waiting times and improved access to care closer to home, reducing the need to travel outside the region.
