Supervisor appointed to RVH

Altaf Stationwala has been appointed supervisor of Renfrew Victoria Hospital (RVH) by the Minister of Health following a related review. In this role, Mr. Stationwala will work closely with the current CEO, the board of directors and staff to address concerns about financial irregularities to strengthen RVH’s governance, accountability and the hospital for the future. There will be no impact to the delivery of patient care during this time, nor does this review reflect the high-quality work the front line staff do every single day to care for members of our community.

Mr. Stationwala is an experienced health care leader and possesses a breadth of knowledge of the hospital sector. He is currently the President and CEO of Mackenzie Health, where he has been appointed since 2010 and oversaw the opening of the new Cortellucci Vaughan Hospital.
