Description Training Opportunity: TO 26-04 Date: February 20, 2026
An opportunity presently exists for a Registered Nurse to be trained to work in the Emergency Department of the Renfrew Victoria Hospital. Any RN who is interested in this opportunity and who meets the following qualifications is welcome to apply. An interview process will assist in determining the qualified applicants(s).
QualificationsQualifications: • Current Certificate of Competence from the College of Nurses of Ontario. • Minimum two (2) years Medical/Surgical nursing experience and experience with patients with chronic illness preferred. • Technical Competence and I.V. Certification. • ACLS certified. • Excellent assessment skills and well-developed interpersonal skills. • Current competence in cardiac monitoring skills preferred. • Comfort with OBS an asset. • Knowledge of or working experience with CTAS an asset. • Current certification in C.P.R. at Basic Rescuer Level. • Ability to work independently and to perform duties in the physical demands of work area. • Bilingualism an asset.
